W elcome to the Barony of Caer Mear, located in the Laurel Kingdom of Atlantia We are part of the Society for Creative Anachronism , a nonprofit educational organization focused on research and re-enacting the middle ages. We are interested in the clothes, food, art, sciences, martial arts and the pagentry of tournaments and court from the years 600 a.d. to 1600 a.d. If you wish to find out more, contact our Chatelaine or the Seneschal. You are welcome to come to one of our regular meetings and explore this site further.

C aer Mear encompasses the greater Richmond, Virginia area as well as points north toward Fredericksburg, south past Fort Lee and Petersburg, east toward Williamsburg, and west to Scottsville.

Here you will find regularly scheduled activities occurring locally as well as specialized events happening throughout our local and regional areas. BARONIAL BUSNIESS MEETING DATE FOR AUGUST AND BEYOND HAS CHANGED

To better accomidate the populace the busniness meetings starting in August and going forward have been moved from the 2nd Wednesday to the 3rd Wednesday of the Month

The Zoom link for the meeting will remail the same and is posted in the Activites section and will also be posted to facebook. It has already been adjusted on the official Baronial Google Calendar

WEEKLY BARONIAL MEET-UPS ARE BACK!!!

Come join your fellow Barony members Tuesday evenings at Ashland Moose Lodge from 6:30-9:00 PM. All projects are welcome. Fighter practice meets weekly and there is one large covered pavilion and tables/benches available for projects. This will be the Barony's temporary meeting time and space until a more permanent location can be acquired. This is an outdoor only space (restoom facilities are available) so please plan accordingly. Please visit the Activites tab above for a full list of Baronial activities and links to any virtual spaces.

Monthly Business Meetings

Baronial Business meetings are every 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7:30-9:00. These meetings are hosted in our Zoom space and the entire populace is encouraged to attend.

The Zoom room opens half an hour before the meeting at 7:00pm to allow time for everyone to gather and hangout prior to the meeting starting. Please visit the Activites tab above for a full list of Baronial activities and links to any virtual spaces.
